Ancient cyanobacteria were ancestral to the chloroplasts of all plants on earth.  By applying a specific solution of sodium hypochlorite, we can kill the bacteria.  Typically when we are done, there is no evidence that it existed.

We use high quality chemicals to kill the growth on your roof.  We use a mixture of detergents and high-quality Sodium Hypochlorite (also known as Bleach).  The mixture of detergents, water, and sodium hypochlorite are applied with a low-pressure soft wash system.  Our process and chemicals align directly with the recommendations of leading shingle manufacturer Owens Corning. After applying the chemical mixture we allow the chemicals to do their job.  Within an hour the growth on the roof will turn brown. We do not use mechanical removal techniques, as that would remove the granules that are applied to your shingles.  We also do not use high pressure to apply our chemicals.   We allow the growth to naturally separate from your roof and fall off.  This usually occurs within 1-2 months.
